At Family Chiropractic Clinic of Saginaw, PLC, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is a sampling of the different chiropractic services we offer in our Saginaw office.
We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Traci Collier, D.C. has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.
At Family Chiropractic, Dr. Collier offers two types of adjusting methods, manual (traditional) and instrument. The instrument used is very safe and comfortable for patients of all ages and sizes. The mechanical instrument emits force and vibration to move the joints allowing for increased range of motion and decreased pain. The instrument is able to pinpoint smaller areas of concern and the amount of force is fully customizable for the patient's comfort. Patients who are pregnant, have had previous spinal surgeries, joint replacements, and chronic pain issues often prefer the instrument method of treatment. Mechanical adjusting is just as effective and often more comfortable for the patient.
Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables Dr. Traci to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
Graston Technique is most commonly used to treat elbow, wrist, knee and foot injuries. Graston can:
- Decrease overall time of treatment
- Foster faster rehabilitation/recovery
- Reduce need for anti-inflammatory medication
- Resolve chronic conditions thought to be permanent
